Classica Homes, a new company with financial ties to a former Crescent Resources CEO, is taking over construction of Robbins Park in Cornelius. Classica is owned and capitalized by Trilogy Capital Partners, which was founded by Bob Lilien, the former CEO of Crescent Resources. Trilogy is also the equity investor in the Robbins Park land development entity.
Classica will employ a total of 16 people, all former members of the Simonini team. The company will be led by former managers of Simonini Builders, including Bill Saint, president and CEO, and Doug Dozier, chief financial officer. Alan Simonini, meanwhile, has launched Alan Simonini Homes, LLC.
Initially, Classica will be the exclusive builder at Robbins Park and will take over for Killian/Simonini, as the development manager as well.
Robbins Park was the host for the 2010 edition of HomeArama. According to Classica, there were more than 10,000 visitors to this year’s showcase of luxury homes.
